The Urology Clinic Providers

David A. Beaird, MD
I have been blessed and fortunate to work with some excellent physicians and great staff at The Urology Clinic since I came to east Tennessee in 2000. Our clinic has grown to be the only provider of Urology care in Johnson City and Bristol. I am married with three children. Moreover, my hobbies include spending time with my family and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing.
I continue to practice general Urology. My interests continue to be broad: kidney stones, voiding problems, genito-urinary malignancies, infertility and urologic problems in children.
My mission and hope is to provide excellent, compassionate, efficient care while incorporating the most up to date techniques from endoscopic stone treatments to robotic assisted laparoscopy.
Education/Training:
Diplomate of American Board of Urology since 2002
Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
Residency: University of Oklahoma

Lincoln T. Olsen, MD
I joined The Urology Clinic in 2008 after completing my residency in Urologic Surgery at The University of Kansas Medical Center and a general surgery internship at The University of Missouri, Kansas City. I also attended medical school at The University of Kansas. My broad training there allows me to treat all types of urologic diseases. I have a special interest in all types of urologic cancers with a focus on minimally invasive treatment options when appropriate. I have both robotic and laparoscopic training. I also enjoy treating complex stone disease.
I moved here with my wife and 3 children from Kansas City. My wife and I are originally from Phoenix, AZ.

William B. Rogers, MD
In the summer of 2013, I joined The Urology Clinic moving back to the East Tennessee area after completing my medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis TN and five years of Urologic Surgery training at the University of Kentucky. I am a native of Jefferson County, TN and my wife, Amanda, grew up in the Karns Community of Knoxville. We met in college at Carson-Newman where I played a couple of years of baseball and she pursued her nursing career. We love being back home after so long away from the most beautiful part of the country. We have 2 wonderful children, Preston and Elizabeth, and their grandparents are just a couple of hours down the road.
It is my honor to serve patients and their Urologic needs in the greater Bristol and Johnson City area. We are at home here, and I could not be practicing with a better group of physicians, providers, and all around people.
My training and practice encompasses a wide range of Urologic conditions with a focus on minimally invasive treatment options, when appropriate, including robotic/laparoscopic kidney, prostate, and pelvic surgeries. Our practice, and myself, are well versed in most treatment modalities and therapeutic options for genitourinary cancers, stones, incontinence, some forms of urinary tract reconstruction, prostate issues, and some female genitourinary disorders, as well as other miscellaneous dysfunctions of the urologic system.
It is the Urology Clinic’s and my personal goal that you receive the most appropriate treatment for your condition. I look forward to helping you through whatever challenges and processes we might face when it comes to your Urologic health.

My family and I moved to the TriCities and joined The Urology Clinic in 2005. I am originally from the Dallas area. I went to Medical School at University of Texas in Houston and completed internship and residency at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. I am board certified by the American Board of Urology.
My focus during my training was on minimally invasive Urologic Surgery. I spend much of my practice treating a wide range of urologic conditions including urologic cancer, kidney stones and various urination problems. I have been doing robotic surgery since 2008 and our practice has been a regional leader in this technology. Medicine and technology are advancing quickly and we are committed to adapting with it as long as we are improving patient care.
I have been married to my wife since 1995 and we have a son and daughter who are young adults. We are Texas transplants who love Tennessee and have recruited some family here as well. We are actively involved in our local church and have been privileged to travel on yearly medical mission trips to Central America and Africa. I enjoy hiking and playing soccer and basketball.
My personal ambition is to provide an exceptional balance of clinical and surgical skill and provide it in a personable and caring manner. Most patients are understandably a bit uneasy the first time they see a urologist and I will do my best to ease their fears. We look forward to seeing you at The Urology Clinic.
